Why Vote for Jeff Fukasawa
I am a lifelong Gardena resident, small business owner, and proud graduate of Gardena public schools. My parents have influenced me in giving back to my community. From my days as a Boy Scout to working with local nonprofit community organizations, I have had the privilege of working with our diverse communities to tackle shared challenges. I am running for Gardena City Council because I care about responsible use of city resources and smart growth.
My goal is simple: keep Gardena safe, prosperous, and moving forward for all residents and partners. My priorities are:
Public safety comes first! I will work with our First Responders to ensure we have the personnel, training and tools to face our city's perils.
Public Services: Working to ensure outside government agencies adjudicate resources and services we need. Fiscal Responsibility: Ensuring our funds are allocated wisely and with oversight of expenditures.
Supporting Seniors: To improve and expand community facilities, including the idea of a new or improved senior center.
Supporting At-Risk Youth: Focused on after school programs that offer mentorship and safe recreational opportunities for our students.
